Edna has worked with traumatized children in an orphanage for more than 20 years. She has studied social assistance and law. She knows her way around Brazilian bureaucracy and acts as a bridge between Brazilian and European culture.
Tatiana Emiliao Elídio is a social worker with more than 15 years of experience. At Estrela da Favela, she teaches upper school children.
Joice studied pedagogy and has years of experience in social pedagogy, preschool and elementary school teaching. Joice teaches small children ages four to eight, using playful and creative techniques.
Duda is studying pedagogy and has been part of the Inclusive Education Team for over two years. Duda supports our younger students with diverse needs, helping them develop the skills they need to reach the appropriate educational level for their age.
Larissa holds a university degree in mathematics and has experience teaching both primary and secondary school students. At Estrela da Favela, she works with children ranging from 5th grade through high school.
Vinicius provides soccer training on Tuesdays and Thursdays at the soccer field in front of the project. He has completed the Brazilian ALO. He pays a lot of attention during his lessons to manners and sporting behavior.
Trained as a documentary filmmaker and anthropologist, Elise lives in both Rio de Janeiro and Amsterdam. Elise handles everything regarding communication and visual materials.
Social entrepreneur and great sports enthusiast. I mainly deal with the organization of existing and new events and the creation of sustainable collaborations with our partners.
